NJSLA - Resources for Students
As we approach the NJSLA administration, students should be comfortable with both course content and the platform on which the test will be administered.
Preparing for Math NJSLA tests:
- To review content, students should review & study their math class assessments.
- To practice their skills, students can complete the sample assessments by pressing THIS LINK. Select the appropriate test (Grade 7, Grade 8, Algebra 1, Geometry, or Algebra 2). From the drop down options, students can work through the Computer Based Practice Tests for each unit; or students can print the Paper Based Practice Test. Within the computer based practice tests, students will be able to practice with the provided calculator, as well as view the appropriate math reference sheet. See below for site view.
- To become familiar and comfortable with the format of the test and tools available, students can visit the tutorials site. From this site, click on TestNav 8 Tutorial for experience with the format and tools available. On the right hand side of the tutorials site, you can also access the equation editor tutorials.
