Grading and Expectations
Virtual Expectations:1. Join with cameras ON, microphones MUTED2. Must be visible on camera throughout the entire class period3. Update computer regularly4. Use "raise hand" option if you have a question5. Communicate - Ask questions if you need help6. Cell phones must be away
Expectations:1. Check Week at a Glance on a daily basis2. Late work will not be accepted3. Arrive to class on time4. Come to class prepared5. Only laptops allowed in class6. Cell phones must be in backpacks7. Sign in and out of class whenever leaving for the bathroom, nurse, or water fountain8. You may not leave the first or last 10 minutes of class
You are expected to arrive to class on time. If you arrive to class late, without a pass, you will lose participation points. If you are consistently tardy, you will receive either lunch or after school detention.
If you are absent, all homework and classwork must be handed in the day you return. If you miss a quiz or test, it must be complete the day you return either during class, lunch, or after school.
Grading: Based on Total Points
Homework: 5-20 points
Writing Assignments: points dependent on length
Quizzes: 25-50 points
Tests: 75-100 points
Essays: 50-100+ points
