    2019 200 Club of Bergen County Scholarship Program 
    Affiliation Scholarships - 
    The 200 Club will award six (6) Affiliation Scholarships at $5,000 each.
    The scholarship is open to students with an affiliation to Police, Fire or Emergency Medical Services.
    To be eligible, the student must be graduating high school senior and the child or stepchild of an active, retired or deceased Bergen County law enforcement officer, fire fighter or ambulance corps member.  This includes: FBI, DEA, ATF, NJ State Police, Palisade Interstate Commission Police, Port Authority Police, Prosecutor's Office, Sheriff's Office who work in Bergen County.  Applicants may qualify on their own merit if they are members of the ambulance corps, police, or fire auxiliary and have been so before September 1, 2018.

    2019 200 Club of Bergen County Scholarship Program 
    Essay Scholarship - 
    The 200 Club will award four (4) Essay Scholarships at $500 each.
    The Essay Scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors.  They do not need to have an affiliation to Law Enforcement, Fire or Emergency Medical Services and their parents do not need to be a member of the 200 Club of Bergen County.
    Essay must be a minimum of 500 words.  When essay is completed, please drop it off to Mrs. Obeso in the guidance office no later than April 4th, 2019 at 3:30 p.m.
    Essay question: Within your age group, do you think men and women who serve as First Responders (Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services) are thought of in high regard or with respect?  Do you think your peers have an understanding as to what is needed in terms of the education and training to be a First Responder?  At any time in your life did you have a program thru your school or community that offered an introduction to you as what a First Responder is?  If so, what was the program and how did that impact your perception on First Responders?  Would you ever consider serving in any of the disciplines and if so why or why not?

    The Edstraordinary Kids Scholarship Foundation is awarding $500 to a senior at River Dell High School.
